Chris is a Lyric Baritone/Bass in the Classical discipline. He is from the outskirts of London and took up the singing from an early age. At the age of 16 he started to take singing lessons as an alto under Nicholas Sherwood with the Newham Academy of Music but had to stop singing for a period to allow his voice to break and settle. He then started singing again (this time as a bass-baritone) and progressed rapidly, taking his ABRSM Grade 8 just a day after his 19th Birthday and gaining a high merit (127). He is now at the University of Chichester with Jon Grave studying for his performance diploma.
Chris has sung in venues in:
Italy: Basilica de San Zeno and the Church of Santa Anastasia, Verona. Both solo and choral participation with the University of Chichester Chamber Choir.

Chris is now singing for his own Quartet (Caelestis Harmonia), The University of Chichester Chamber Choir, The University of Chichester Chapel Choir, The Otter Consort and The Chichester Chorale. He has also been singing small choral works with a quartet at Blenheim Palace dinner functions for the last 2 years.
